Atmel SAMD21 and WINC1500 WiFi

Lately I’ve been engaged in contract development work for some Internet of Things demonstrations. This is the first of many, I hope, and will help show you how to get up and running with an IoT development project quickly.

The first one revolves around Atmel’s SAMD21 Xplained Pro development kit, along with the WINC1500 WiFi extension board, and I/O1 Sensor extension board. I tie them together and connect them to some data services using bip.io and the wot.io data service exchange, which is a very powerful and flexible way to connect and scale IoT and M2M data services.

Code is on GitHub, too.
